Ian M. Thompson III

In this video, we introduce you to Dr. Ian Thompson. He is a urologist by training but also an entrepreneur and real estate investor.

His love for real estate started early during medical school with a challenging flip project. While this might have deterred others from ever venturing into real estate again, this was just the beginning for Ian. Instead of getting derailed, he viewed it as great learning and fueled his interest in tackling another project.

His next real estate purchase wasn't until after he finished fellowship when he bought his first RV park. Somewhere between this RV park and now where he owns 243 units, he got his wife involved and she is now the real estate professional of the family. His 243 units consists of 3 mobile home parks, 2 RV parks, 8 unit multifamily property, a handful of single family rentals and a short-term rental.

His advice: Just do it. Look at deals. Break down a task.
